Danish Monetary Standard 1814 - 1875

1 Rigsbankdaler (Rbdl) = 6 Mark
1 Mark = 16 Skilling

In connection with the Scandinavian monetary union the "Krone-system" was introduced in 1875. One Rigsbankdaler was replaced by two Kroner; hence the Two-Kroner-coin - even to day - is nicknamed a "Daler".
